We are a group of
individuals who are dedicated to the preservation and watching of The Andy
Griffith Show. We believe that andy griffith show is some of the best that
television has to offer. We are the Morgantown Chapter of TAGSRWC (The Andy
Griffith Show Rerun Watchers Club). Our group is recognized by the National
Home Chapter. There are clubs all over the United States and even in other
countries. There are a lot of people out there who, like us, believe in good
wholesome television programming. The Andy Griffith Show has aired since
the 1960's and will live on into the 2000's. The secret to it's success is
none other than the comedic genious that we find in Don Knott's and the other
fine folks of Mayberry. Mayberry is where anybody who appreciates that small
town love and friendship would like to live. Mayberry is a friendly town
where everybody knows everybody and would do anything to help you out anytime
you needed them. Me and my croonies here in Morgantown got to live in Mayberry
for a day here recently when they renamed one of our Morgantown streets as
Don Knotts Beulavard. We also got to meet the man himself who is indeed from
our home town...hence the name "Barney's Home Town" which we chose as the
name for our chapter. The guys in the group have even tossed the idea around
about maybe checking with Don sometime when he is in town to see if we could
have a meeting and invite Don over to watch some episodes with us. That would
we some kind of experience there .....to watch the andy griffith show with
Barney!!!! Wow, what a concept. Well, we are trying to get the ball rolling
here and hope to do improvements to our web site in the future. If you would like
to comment on my website, feel free to drop my an e-mail @
wvrns@msn.com I am the president
of the Morgantown chapter and my name is Greg Michael. Bill Barr is Vice President
In the picture with Don are myself (to his immediate left with Bill pictured

the event. The picture on the shirts is Don's high school picture from his
1942 year book (his senior year). Pretty cool huh?!
Well, we plan on keeping the ball rolling here in Morgantown. I do hope you enjoyed
your visit. Your Mayberry friend, Greg
